This is a "continuous border" design with an added first and last stitch for placement and includes the mirror design with altered placement stitches. (notes are included with purchase). The mirror design is for using after "the Jacobean Center" in the middle of your project. Both sides will then be "continuous". Jacobean End

This design is for placing on the end of your Jacobean Swirl Border, so that the swirl ends in the same direction(as it begins), for a balanced look (and covers the bare stem). Click on the 1st thumbnail (real stitchout) to see this. (It is no longer 'continuous' with this in place).
Without the 'END', the stem would be bare and be in the upward position (in relation to the border).
The 2nd photo at the side shows without the 'END', and the 3rd, with the 'END'.
I have purposely left a space (in these cut and pasted photos) so you can see more clearly where the stem tucks in.

If you are using the CENTER in your continuous border, you do not need the END for the border. You can use the END design for the corner of napkins or angle it in the very corner of your tablecloth, stem to the corner. (please email me if your software or machine can not angle the design for you).
